If your UNA Watch or app isn’t connecting to your phone, Bluetooth accessories, or third-party services (like Strava), the issue is usually simple to resolve. Follow the steps below to quickly get everything working again.
1. Check Your Bluetooth Connection
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your phone.
- Keep your watch within 5 metres (16 feet) of your phone.
- If you’ve recently connected another Bluetooth device (e.g., headphones), temporarily disconnect it — some devices limit simultaneous connections.
-
Restart both your UNA Watch and your phone, then try again.
2. Reconnect The Watch To The App / Reset Bluetooth Cache
If your UNA Watch isn’t syncing properly:
- Go to your phones Bluetooth settings, look for your "UNA Watch xxxxxx"and Forget This Device.
- Restart both devices.
- Reopen the UNA app and click on the watch in the bottom menu options and choose “Connect Device” to re-pair.
-
Confirm the pairing code on both devices.
This clears out old pairing data that can occasionally cause conflicts.
4. Strava & Third-Party Sync Issues
If Strava activities aren’t syncing:
- Open the UNA App and confirm Strava still shows as Connected.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration. You will need to do this through your Strava Account Log in to the Strava website on a computer or using a web browser on your phone (rather than the app).
- Go to settings by clicking on your profile picture in the right hand corner.
- Click on My Apps in the menu on the left side. Find the UNA Watch app and click "Revoke Access".
- To reconnect, return to your UNA App, select Watch, Profile and "Connect to Strava".
- Ensure your phone has a stable internet connection.
- If uploads fail, they’ll be queued and sent automatically once a connection is restored.
Notes
- Keep your UNA Watch’s firmware and app updated for the latest connectivity fixes.
- Avoid pairing UNA with multiple phones simultaneously; this can cause sync interruptions.
- If issues persist after following all steps, contact UNA Support ( hello@unawatch.com) and include details about your device model, app version, and any connected accessories.
