UNA integrates directly with Strava so you can automatically upload runs, rides, and hikes for deeper analysis and community sharing. Here’s how to set it up and what to expect once connected.
1. Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- The UNA App installed on your phone (latest version).
- A Strava account - free or premium, both work.
- Your UNA Watch is paired and synced with the app.
2. Connect Strava In The UNA App
- Open the UNA App on your phone.
- Go to Watch in the bottom menu, then click into Profile
- Tap “Connect to Strava.”
- You’ll be redirected to the Strava login page. Sign in with your Strava details.
- Grant all requested permissions, including access to activity and health data.
- Once authorised, you’ll be returned to the UNA App where Strava will show as Connected.
3. Syncing Activities Automatically
- After each completed activity, UNA will automatically upload your data to Strava when an internet connection is available, and your watch is synced to the UNA app.
- The following details will be included:
- Activity type (Run, Ride, Hike)
- Route map and GPS data
- Elevation gain
- Distance, pace, and time
- Heart rate and calorie metrics
Notes
- Strava sync requires an active internet connection on your phone.
- Activities will queue locally on UNA if you’re offline; they’ll upload automatically once reconnected.
- If an activity isn’t showing, ensure both apps are up to date, and permissions are still granted.
